About FastForward
FastForward is an AI engineering firm for go-to-market teams. We build the data and AI systems, in tools like Clay and Claude, that help revenue teams find the right buyers, enrich their data, and reach them with better signals.
About the role
We're looking for a freelance ghostwriter to write LinkedIn and X content for the FastForward team. Each team member we write for has a distinct voice, a documented content strategy, and a lot to say about GTM, AI, and building a company.
We want authority, not volume. Our leaders should read as the people revenue teams go to for a real answer. Lead magnets and CTAs are a small part of the mix; authority and thought leadership are the priority.
You'll work with our marketing lead, who owns strategy, pillars, and final review. You own the drafting.
What you'll do
- Draft weekly LinkedIn posts for up to three team members, each in their own voice, from our pillars and content calendar
- Adapt and write native X posts and short threads
- Mine call transcripts, meeting notes, and voice memos for stories, opinions, and specifics worth posting. Stay up-to-date on trending topics in the GTM engineering space.
- Track what performs on each platform and bring back what to do more or less of
- Keep each executive's voice guide current as you learn what they will and won't say
What we're looking for
- 2+ years ghostwriting for B2B founders or executives, with accounts you can point to
- Active, recent X experience, for clients or yourself
- A GTM, sales tech, RevOps, or B2B SaaS background
- Range across voices
- Comfort taking edits and turning them into a better next draft
Nice to have
- Experience growing an executive's following and inbound, with before-and-after numbers
- Email or newsletter copywriting experience
- Familiarity with GTM engineering, AI agents, or data enrichment as topics
Tools
You'll work mainly in Google Docs, Notion, Granola, and Claude. We use AI for research, first-pass drafting, and voice checks, and we expect you to use it well. Nothing publishes without a human writing, reviewing, and improving it first.
Logistics
- Type
- Freelance / contract, ongoing
- Scope
- Pre-determined hourly scope or monthly retainer based on posts per executive per week, scoped together before kickoff
- Review cadence
- Drafts in by a set weekday for internal review, then executive approval
- Location
- Remote, with a few hours of overlap with US Central time
To apply
Send your resume or LinkedIn, links to 2–3 executive accounts you've written for (LinkedIn and X), and your rate structure to [email protected]. Include one post you're proud of and one sentence on why it worked.
